Membership Terms and Conditions

 

Access to the website and other membership privileges implies acceptance of these membership terms and conditions.  Terms and conditions may be updated from time to time and will apply from the date of publication on the members web pages.  Changes will be notified in the members email newsletter and the definitive list will be available on the members website.

Membership and Subscriptions

Access to the website and other privileges will be dependent on payment of the applicable membership subscription at the time of subscribing.   Individual membership and associate membership will reside with the individual, not the organisation.  Corporate membership and associate membership will reside with the organisation.

Membership may be cancelled by Members/Associates at any time and Members/Associates understand that no refund of subscriptions will be given in any circumstances.

Access and privileges may be withdrawn from Members/Associates who:

  • break these terms and conditions
  • bring the Forum into disrepute

Bookings on any events for new members and renewing members are provisional until such times as payment is made in full.

Admin Fee

All booking less that £750 (excluding VAT) may be subject to an administration fee of £50 + VAT.  The latter fee is deductable for payments made within the payment terms listed.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Members/Associates undertake to respect the privacy of information on the website.  

In particular where Members' contact details are made available to other members, this is to enable networking and sharing of information between members.  Under no circumstances are they to be used by Members or Associates, or made available by Members/Associates to to third parties, for mailing lists or other commercial purposes.

Information on the web is made available to Members/Associates and cannot therefore be regarded as confidential.  Members/Associates undertake that all information they provide for the web is free from copyright, confidentiality or other restrictions that would prevent its publication on our website.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

All material on this web site is the intellectual property of the Forum (or the suppliers of the information where this is explicitly stated).  Material on the members site is made available purely for the benefit of Members/Associates for use within their own organisation.  It is not available for commercial use with other organisations, other than as specified below.  All material is copyright and not available for reproduction or transmission in any form except in the following specific circumstances:

  • Material that is copyright by the Forum may be used by Members within their own organisation during their period of membership and copied or transmitted to other members of their own organisation only, provided that the copyright restrictions are clearly shown and these restrictions are observed by all recipients
  • Material that is copyright by other parties may be transmitted or copied only as agreed by those parties
  • Forum material may be used by Associate Members only during their period of membership and with clients who are also members of the Forum

Liability and Contractual Obligations

No other statements on this website or email correspondence may be taken to imply any contractual obligation by the Forum.  

Any liability will be limited to the membership subscription paid, except in the event of personal injury or death at a Forum event.

Information - whether on the web or in any other form - is provided for the use of Members and others at their own discretion.  No liability will be accepted for the accuracy of any information or the consequences of its use by Members or others.   

Nothing in this agreement or in any material on the website or any other correspondence between us shall confer or purport to confer on any third party any benefit or any right to enforce any terms of this agreement.

Applicable Law

This membership agreement is to be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Terminology

The following terminology has been used in this document and is to be understood as follows:

Forum - the Professional Planning Forum Ltd
Members - individual or corporate members who are working within an organisation running a  call centre operation and who are supporting that organisation.
Associates and Associate Members- Supplier/Consultant Members who join in this category.
